Alarm problems
My car is having issues. My alarm started going off today for no reason so I turned it off under the arm rest and it still going off. Took the cables off the battery for 15 sec and it still went off when i reconnected the cable to battery. so now i disconnected the battery for more then 10 mins and it still at the moment disconnected. What could be the problem. Oh yeah i also took the battery out of the remote on the key chain after it did nothing to help the situation. When the key is in and the car is started it keeps beeping.

Not that it's much help, but on my 94 the alarm switch in the armrest in the "off" position only partially disables the alarm. Some functions are still active and the alarm will still sound with the switch off.
Possibly an intrusion sensor is stuck or malfunctioning? I had an issue where the reading lamps in the back door pillars (VDP trim) triggered the alarm when they were extended - scared the **** out of me at the time!
Sorry I can't be of more help - afaik the alarm unit is located in the roof console that contains the sunroof switch, try disconnecting it there maybe?
