Well, the landlord of doom dropped the bomb.. She is selling the house.

I have 8 weeks to move the family to CA... On a very thin, super paper thin budget.

Looks like it is going to be a apartment due to the lower move in cost.

Crossing fingers, that I can keep the car... But in a few weeks. It might get listed.

 

These things happen, KC7stw. For as much as we love these old bangers, it's important to remember that they're just cars; and it's far more important to have good housing for the family and a bit of money in the bank. If you can keep the car, awesome. But if you need to let it go, I hope you don't feel too bad. Perhaps in the future another one will be there when you're ready.

Sorry to hear of the news, nothing like being uprooted by some other persons decision.

Chin up, look forward.

Maybe you should put the car up just to see if there is any interest, perhaps you'll come out further ahead than you thought. Then again, no interest, may be forced to take it with you (dam#)..... certainly wouldn't be made to abandon it would you?

I am waiting on the taxes to get done... Once that happens I will know for sure.
