Brake Replacement Question

Brake Replacement Question
I had my XJ40 checked out at a Jaguar Service place in March and they said my front brake pads had 45% remaining and my rear brake pads had 50% remaining. I took it in to Midas today and they are telling my both the front and rear rotars and pads need to be replaced. And it will cost $1000. The Jaguar Service place didn't say anything about the rotars looking like they need to be replaced back in March.

Go on craigs list in your local area. Put mechanic in the search bar, you will find someone that will come to you. You can get it all done for $200 or less. Even if you have the slightest bit of mechanical skills, you can change pads yourself. Heck, I'll even show you via live video if you want.

RUN!!!
My money's betting Midas wants to replace rotors, pads, AND calipers. Generally, if an owner sticks with the original equipment parts, we at the dealer don't replace rotors until they actually measure below a minimum specification. We don't resurface rotors either, don't need to, orig equip. pads don't eat rotors like a lot of aftermarket pads do.
Make someone PROVE why they want to replace all your brakes.
My two cents..........
