It's been awhile since I did it but I think it will all be obvious to you, Larry. Unfortunately there are no modern automatic tensioners you just twist to loosen the belt. It's all old-school with nuts on threaded rods to adjust tension and jam nuts to lock things in place once adjusted.
I seem to recall that it helps to loosen the main alternator mounting bolt so it will pivot more easily. Same with the compressor. Can't remember the air pump at all but our car does have one. If you have time for photos I'm sure others would be appreciative!
