Default code fuel fail 44

seems like it has to do with the o2 sensor circuit(according to the pdf download/sticky)just got the code tonight, but no engine light and no problems driving/stopping/starting ect...seems to run really good.thinking of changing out some relays for the o2 heater and fuel pump....plus clean connections...any one have any other simple fix it ideas...im gonna have to get a good meter if it persists...another thing i found is the connection in the trunk under the battery is realy corroded(its to plug a computer into i think)...thanks for any help in advance....
