Have a replacement engine for my 90 xj6, plan to replace all hoses belts and what ever else is recommended on this forum while engine is on ground. The replacement has 70,000 previous owner verified miles. The only thing missing on the engine is the hyd. pump, so I plan to use my old one, The new engine only shows normal dirt and grease, no leaks of consequence, what all should I do while it is out of the car? Where do I attach a lifting devise, and what config device is recommended?
