There is no voltage going to the CPS, it generates an ac wave to the ECU

Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.

I checked your thread in the XJS forum and note that you still have not told us the year of your Jaguar. If you will go to that thread and share the year and engine (4.0L) of your XJS, I will provide you with links to Jaguar documentation that will be helpful.

Also, if you will tell us the exact symptoms you are trying to diagnose, we will try to provide additional guidance.

In the meantime, please comply with my previous request that you visit the New Member Area - Intro a MUST and post a required introduction so we can learn something about you and your Jaguar.
