Differential leak

Hi all, There's a very slight leak from the differential and I'm told, it's one heck of a job to replace the seal. Could I use Lucas. Engine Oil Stop Leak, or is there a better alternative/choice ?........Roger.

motorcarman offers some sage advice there. it might not be a leak.
