Nice find with the Bosch accumulator.

Are there any specifications stamped into it?

Was looking online but couldn't find any besides the obvious m14x1.5 thread.

Does anybody know the volume and pressure specifications?

Hello Nick, I read your message replacing replacing a Jaguar JLM1907 brake accumulator on in XJ40 with STC2784 used in the Range Rover. I am curious to hear how well it has been functioning long term ? I have been trying to find the specs of the Range Rover STC2784 accumulator to look at the pressure specs and thread type. Did it screw in directly to the XJ40 Teeves braking system or was a there a adapter required. If so this is really good news.

Regards from Rod

same problem here...oem accumulator JLM1907 (after 1990), it should be:
thread: male M14x1.5
volume: 0.25 lit (15 cubic inch)
pre-charge: 84 bar
max working pressure: 210 bar
fluid: DOT4
membrane and oring material: EPDM
so, has the BOSCH 0265202070 used on mercedes/maybach the same or better characteristics?

Well after a couple of years the old ball seemed to have gone, I used the mercedes one. Then under urgent braking it pushed nearly to the floor, and the brake pump just buzzed all the time. I guessed this was the ball, and have replaced with the bigger GM one (which was available on ebay, but not via the source in USA quoted above...they came back to me and said no longer in stock).

So I purchased off ebay , followed the instruction that came with the ball and remain identical to the information on this thread.

No leaks of brake fluid, easy to undo, and have tighted up to 46 nm as quoted in instructions. Brake seems sharp, pump doesnt run past what is required. Success...I believe.

I know that this is an old thread, but last October (2024) I bought an accumulator from TBSCShop.com for my 1990 XJS convertible for $250 delivered. Fit perfectly and works great. It replaced JLM11907 and Saab 4002267.
