Exclamation Jaguar Auto electrician wanted

Hi All,
I live in south west Sydney Australia, and I am in need of a Jaguar
specialist auto electrician to fix the heater system on my 87 model XJ40.
Can anyone suggest someone to help me?
Kind Regards

Tim,

Can I suggest you post full details of the issue with the heater system?

There's a good chance the collective brains here can come up with a fix to avoid the need for calling in expensive outside help.

Hi Graham,
Have had the car down at the local electrician and he seemed to think the blower motors were fine, but couldn't seem to find out why the heater switch could not turn them on. Auto electrical systems are not my specialty and I was told this system in my XJ40 is very complicated, but if anyone can help with any Ideas I would be very grateful. Thanks for your reply and offer to help

Tim,

If there's still no posts to this thread tomorrow, I'll go up in the loft and pull out my old manuals. I know I've still got the full set of Workshop Manuals.

It's over ten years since I had an XJ40 and the memory dims but I recollect having problems with stepper motors failing on the heater flaps.
