Limp Home Light on 90 Sov
After 20 years of TLC and high maintenance (sounds like my wife) the limp home light will occasionally come on (three times this year) on my 90 Sov (167K) and it will go into linp home mode. Then the light goes out and all is OK again. Is this the beginning of the end of a beautiful relationship (ie. new transmission) or should I be looking for something related and less expensive?

Ken, appreciate the quick response. Questions.
1. My shop manual says you can adjust and/or renew rotary switch. Are you suggesting renew?
2. Both adjust and renew call for use of tool #JD161. Is use of this tool critical and if so is it available to purchase.
3. This condition has only occured three times this year to date. Am I doing any harm in leaving it "as is" for a while. I'm in the middle of rebuilding a house.
