Now the Heat/AC fans don't work !
92 XJ40 - Up to the recent work stoppage of the fans they ran erratic at first and the the HIGH stage cut out intermittently. Only when I switched to OFF and back on, was the HIGH stage revived for a short period. MED and LOW worked. Now everything is dead in MAN and AUTO. The fuses are good and I hear a clicking sound when I activate the Fan switch in all three stages, which leads me to believe the control switches are good. All the control lights cycle.At 170000 miles did the motors give up. Both at the same time ?
If anybody has had similar problems and a solution, I sure would appreciate a comment.
