Odd issue
Hi All
had an odd issue yesterday - I had been out and returned home for about 30 mins when I had to go out again... try to start the car, and no go, volt meter in the red...
I got a reading of ~ 12.5v from the battery, in the mean time, due to where I had parked, I though I would roll the car backwards a little so the roadside assistance could get better access to the engine bay
I straightend the wheels, took the HB off and the GB in N (while my neighbour stopped it rolling forward... went round to push, but it was too heavy to move as it was on a slight downhill angle.
Got back in to out it in P and put the HB on when I thought I would try starting it again, turned the key and away she went, first crank
Hasnt missed a beat since, so im thinking maybe something loose around the starter maybe? - has anyone come across this before?

(note to self, need to replace the shift - "thing-a-ma-jig" soon, after replacing the "low brake presure")
back to topic what "mrtalkradio" said it is the shifter being a bit loose and not signaling it is in Park.
Just my two cents.......
