Having done up the front and and breaks/discs i find the front rh wheel is locking up, is it possible the abs is not working on one wheel?

My guess is more than likely your caliper has rust or corrosion on the piston and it's sticking - it didn't do it before because the brakes/discs were not so "fat" - the new pads and rotors caused the caliper to extend it's "reach" and bring an unused and possibly corroded/dirty section of the piston into play.

I could be totally off on this though, but that's my guess!

There were issues with the A.B.S. Valve Block and Jaguar recommended replacing the valve block as opposed to the entire unit. Some cars would VIOLENTLY jerk to one side or the other with a normal brake application.

Debris can block valve ports and cause one wheel to lock up. I have replaced a few for this fault a few decades ago. I would suggest cleaning the block to make sure foreign matter is not the cause if the 'O'rings can still be sourced.

You might try a COMPLETE brake fluid flush first to see if that helps??

Booked in for brake fluid flush tomorrow, first one for six years at least. See how we go.
