Default Rear suspension arm compatibility

I have one early xj40 and one later one. The later one has the cast rear arms, and due to plans I have for the cars my intention is to swap the rear suspension arms from the later car onto the earlier one.

Other than the shock and spring assembly being different, is there anything else that I would need to take from the later car to make it fit? IE are the hubs, cv axles, mounting points, bolt diameters etc all the same between the two?
Many thanks

I believe the brake calipers changed, and maybe the hub too, as they went to vented rotors.

That's fine for me, do you know if the inner Lower arm mounts are the same?

I have a 94 which originally had the cast arms. When I got it, it had the earlier stamped arms. That unit went south and I got another complete unit with cast arms. I believe you can use the same calipers if you swap the entire unit. It's a relatively easy, albeit heavy project. It's simple enough to get the number cast in the calipers and check the various parts houses to see if the two supersede to the same number. Good luck. What is your reason to swap?

I'm looking at an air suspension kit but it doesn't seem to be compatible with the earlier cars. It's only the arms that I need to fit, I was hoping they'd be the only part that changed other than the shock/spring setup.
I have had mixed answers as to whether I can just swap arms, shocks and springs into the hubs and subframe already on the cars, didn't really want to swap the entire rear end.

Yes, you'll be able to swap just the wishbones, that said one important thing is the wishbone tie. Not only there are various versions with the outer bushes or lack of them(and then special spacers instead) but you definitely should get a tie with the extra ears that will allow you to fit in rear ARB. Then replace rear individual diff struts with a monobrace from X308. It will completely transform the car and how it drives.

You basically need this:

plus all the shocks and bushes, replace springs while in there, they are cheap and you wont want to go back in there again. Also replace the aframe bushes too.
