Brake light assembly has come unglued from the rear window. I smoothed and cleaned the tinted part of the window and the flat pods on the assembly that contact the window. I tried Super Glue, JB- Weld Clear Weld 2 stage epoxy.

The JB Clear seemed to hold and cure, but the next day assembly fell off again when the window got warm from the sun.


I know that there are adhesives out there that are used glue drivers rearview mirrors to the windshield, but this assembly with the cover is heavier than that... What will hold this?

 

The HMSL is mounted with the same adhesive as the interior rear view mirror.
