service engine light on

service engine light on
my 92 xj6 has a service engine light on. I pulled the codes and got FUEL 12 FAIL 12. Also the exhaust is so black that it turns the hole back of my car black with soot. need to fix A.S.A.P for smog cert !!! can anybody help? $$!! my email adress is erictech11@yahoo.com

is that a throttle body injection, or individial injection engine? youre too rich on the air to fuel mixture...just need to figure out why. has it been tinkered with at all?
