i changed my head unit to an aftermarket one, JVC and it sounds great. i replaced the old O.E speakers in the doors, with new, modern 4 inch speakers, added seperate tweeters, but kept the rear floor subs and it sounds great! clarity is good and bass out the rear subs is plenty sufficient. i don`t need the windows to rattle now, not at 51 years of age
