Exclamation Trunk Lock Issue

Hey guys got a weird one here. So when I first got my 1992 XJ6 Sovereign, the trunk lock worked intermittently. Sometimes it would activate the lock when I locked the car, and sometimes it wouldnt and the trunk would be accessible despite every other lock being secured.

In my quest to make the car perfect, I decided to put some white lithium grease in the key hole to lube it up. Now, the lock works perfectly every time. The only concern I have is that now it makes this horrible sound when unlocking. I have included a video for you all to hear.

Should I be concerned? Is this a normal sound? Any idea what it could be and how to address it if it is not?

Thanks in advance!

Mine makes that noise. Its the lock actuator. I took mine out to see if I could fix it but the unit has plastic gears inside. I think theres a place that rebuilds them but I havent had that problem rise high enough on "the list" as yet.
