Trunk Release XJ6 1990

1990 XJ6
When I lock or unlock the doors the trunk release motor screeches horribly. Itâ€™s reminiscent of sounds my ex-mother in law made. Has anyone ever had this issue? Do I need a new release motor or can it be lubricated?

you"ll be needing the trunk lock actuator
pretty common back in th day
