Can anyone tell me what size box ranch i need for the back plug on a 1988 xj6. Thanks in advance it doesnt have the front plug just one on the back. Went to change the oil the other day and tried to use a 27 mm and it was way to small. So I cant find the size anywhere on the net and cant take it in the part store. So hope one of you know.

 

I think the back drain plug is a 36mm, but don't quote me on that. The front one is a 40 some... sorry I can't be of more help...

 

Its cool thanks for the help I found out today the back is 30 mm and a bitch from hell to get out LOL! For some very strange reason I dont have a front plug.I looked where it should be and there is a downward bubble but no hole no bolt on plug nothing. So i guess it is the back plug.
