I am from Sri Lanka and have a XJ40 1990, 2.9. Engine is damaged beyond repairs. I want to put a 3.2 engine and what things I need to change.

 

Hi, will need the 3.2 ECU and possibly the wiring loom, and the donor engine must come with the exhaust manifold and if not the same transmission (ie manual donor to auto and vice versa) you will need to swop over the transmission adapter plate.
You will also need the inlet manifold complete with air intake plus the injectors, basically you need the donor engine to be complete!
From memory I think the exhaust down pipe is the same along with the ignition coil and amplifier and as the blocks are virtually identical it will drop straight in. Good luck.
