XJ40 instrument cluster intermittent failure
Does anyone have a link to the photo of the board to check and redo the solders and the procedure to get to the circuit board I found it once looking into how to fix this problem is does come back on with a whack but I know that will only work for so long.or a video or set of pictures followed with the instructions would be nice

I don't recall anyone posting a photo tutorial, unfortunately. I posted tutorials on replacing the bulbs in our '93 cluster so it may help you get yours out. The large images at Jag-Lovers are still down but the thumbnails and descriptions are still visible:

Once you can see the circuit boards, inspect every solder joint carefully. Starved joints are obvious - they don't have enough solder. Cold joints have a dull, rough appearance. Cracked joints are not always easy to spot, but if you see a dark circle in the solder around any component pin, that's usually a crack. Check especially at the electrical connector pins and pins of any relays, displays or other "heavier" components you see. Reflow and supplement with new solder every suspect joint.
Cheers,
Don
