1990 XJ6 wont start
Hi, I have an XJ6 1990, 3.2 and have been having trouble starting her for a while,
I went through a relatively shallow puddle in the winter, and it stopped the other side, but after about 20 minutes it started, but from then on I have had sparodic problems,
Any time it is raining or has been damp overnight, she won't start.
I have charged up the battery (several times) she cranks but doesn't fire,
(At this point I will say I have a Daimler with a blown head gasket on the drive too, which after sitting there for several years still fires up) and have now canabilised several parts to get the xj running,
I have changed the plugs to new ones,
And have used from the Daimler, the rotor arm and distributor cap, which got it going for a while, and today I have used the coil, condenser and HT leads, but to no avail.
Getting fed up now, can any one suggest which parts I should consider buying new, in order of possible solutions.
(Don't seem to be able to find the correct condenser online) any suggestions would be gratefully received

Is this a series 3 car? It's all different between the ser3 cars and the xj40.
Fwiw, the crank sensor tells the ecm to fire the injectors and spark. Me, If I didn't have a multimeter or tools to check for spark I'd probably squirt some starting fluid in the afm and see if it fires off first.
