was working fine. then mother pushed the valet switch and just like that, the trunk wont open. please help. i tried pushing the valet switch again, to no avail. I also tried the black key in the trunck but it wont open it. the dash switch doesnt work either. any suggestions?

 

I can't remember how the valet switch works. I've never used mine. I'll look it up tomorrow if nobody answers before then.

When you DO get the trunk open make sure to lubricate and exercise the regular key lock linkage so it'll work when you need it :-). Lack of use is the usual problem here.

Try posting your question in the "X300" section....which is correct for your car. You probably get more replies. Or perhaps a moderator will see this and move the thread for you.
