1995 XJ6 USA Pinging Upon Acceleration

Have 1995 XJ6 with 137K+ miles. Recently I am hearing what sounds like a pinging noise once a accelerate up to 30 MPH. There is no noise once I drive over 30 MPH. I recently had the oil change and sound still persists and I use premium unleaded fuel. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you using oil? Some years ago my car started pinging and also using oil. Turned out to be the valve stem seals, letting so much oil past the guides that the engine would pre-detonate.
Changed stem seals, both problems fixed.
