Default 89 fuel tank

Ok.....

Fixed 3 pinholes in tank with quicksteel and epoxy.

What's the best.....errr.....easiest way to reinstall this tank ???

I did not remove it...so....I need help here.

Have tried installing with lines connected.

It did not want to go all the way in .

Installed it without the lines connected....and it seemed to work....but how the heck do I connect the lines if I install it that way??

Does not wanna go in all the way.

Do I need to install the tank, then install the fuel lines from underneath??

A 1989 Vanden Plas......

Is this an XJ40, XJ6 or XJ12?

I've moved your thread from General Tech to the XJ6 section where more owners of the same model will view it.

Good luck - tanks aren't the easiest things to manoeuvre!
