AAV delete series ll
Has anyone deleted this system? I’d rather have it permanently set in warm mode and deal with rough cold engine than this thing having a mind of its own…

I removed all that stuff on any car we had, rom the 70's onward.
I had NO idea what I was doing, so removed what I reckoned was associated with that rubbish. Blocked off ports etc as I went.
Got a Manual Choke Kit for each, and moved on, never looked back.
Stromberg, nope, want have them on any car.

I mean the auxiliary air valve that allows high idle on injection v12 pre he.
i would prefer a simple extra cable to keep throttle a bit more open during cold and slowly push it in as it warms to reach idle stop fully warmed. This automatic one is nice but prefer a simpler method
