Default Antiback flow valve

Where is this located on a 82 series 3? Want to see if it is closing and how would you do that? Also how do you test a cold start injector?

It is in the trunk, in the spare tire well. Item #5 in this illustration.

Fuel Feed Pipes and Hoses-Trunk - Parts For Series III Saloon | Jaguar Heritage Parts UK

Remove it and blow thru. You should be able to blow thru it in only one direction.

Also how do you test a cold start injector?

Remove hose from the cold start injector. Remove injector from the inlet manifold. Re-attach hose.

Remove coil wire so engine won't start.

Have a helper crank the engine while you watch for fuel to spray out of the injector. Engine must be *cold*. It'll spray for only a couple seconds.

Be ready for a gush of fuel

Cheers
