Default Bigger S style tips just like stock???

Guys, with my V8 conversion slowly progressing, I've hit a snag. I'm going to use 2 1/4" exhaust. One of my detail things, it has to have the stock styled lazy S tips with the rolled ends. I cannot find anything where I've been looking. I thought of building them out of stainless and welding on a stainless round ring. Then metal finish and polish. This would be very time consuming but if it has to be done, I'll do it. I'd really like to just buy some to save time. Anyone got ideas?

That may be your only option. I have never seen another car with S curve exhaust tips of any size. I find the shape kind of curious ( understand about fumes / ventilation of cabin and their function) When you see the shape of them you know they came from a Jaguar XJ6 - one of those things....
However if you have the ability and the will I would encourage you to go ahead and build some...thats what it is all about - your own expression / version of the car.. ( I like my louvers !! ) But as to the exhaust pipes, from time to time I find myself looking at other configurations but I am still with the original size / shape.

Part numbers
Left C.36598/1
Right C.36598/2

Starla Rear Left OR Right Exhaust Tail Pipe TIP JR1009 1975 77 JAG UAR XJ6 4 2L | eBay

Another option is try Everyday XJ http://shop.everydayxj.com/XJ6_Exhau...03-cac3365.htm

I have a left hand one here I will never use as my car has the s bends but not rolled tips. Yours if want to pay postage and use it as a template to make your own.

Inside diameter is 1 57/64"(1.889") or 48mm.

Isn't that ebay tip the same size as the ones I already have?

Default I just sized the exhaust to the Jaguar size

I too wanted to use the Jaguar tips.. they are very small but I just necked down the last exhaust pipe to fit... works fine.

Sorry, I must have misread. I read it as you didn't have any tips at all.
I assumed you were looking for stock sized ones.(not stock style)
