Default child restraints

Hey,
Does anyone know if the series one XJ6 has a means to mount child restraints in the back seat?
Cheers in advance.

No mention of mounting points in any of the Series 1 books I have.

I do know Phil has done a couple of anchor points for seats for a work colegue in his older car, he should be able to help you out.

Cheers.
I have a manual here for the series 3 xj6 but couldn't find anything either.
I'll hit Phil up.

I found seat belt anchor points in the back of my S1, I just bought some belts from a S2 and they bolted straight in. 2 bolts under seat 1 bolt on top rear shelf by speakers.

No-one restrained children in the early 70's... Let alone use a car seat.

But as others have mentioned, I'd use the current belt anchors.

Make sure you cover up your leather before putting the car seat on it.

In Qld our child restraint rules are quite strict, the mounting points have to be centred behind the child seats so I don't think the seat belt points will work being in the corners.
Also I believe for a vehicle to be road worthy all seat belts must be fitted if the vehicle came with them new.
