Default series 2 4.2 alternator reposition

okay, I removed the air pump and A/C compressor (it's locked up, and I'm removing the A/C externals anyway), so I moved the alternator up using the same mount, modified to clear the exhaust manifolds. So; with the alternator bolted up to the mount exactly as it was before, where do I mount the adjusting bolts? I am SURE someone has done this very job and has a quick response for the best method.

Well; I worked out a way.... I took two of the existing adjusters, combined them using a 3/8-24 thread coupler, and mounted it to the lower stud that was the original alternator adjuster mount, then pivoted the alternator out sufficiently to attach the adjuster to it. I still need to get a measurement for a new drive belt, but it will use the same groove as originally set up. I may shorten the adjuster to gain a bit of clearance for the pulley fan, but I might not if it doesn't need it. The engine is a lot cleaner looking and the alternator is up away from the road a little further.
