Default Removing seat for repair, any air bag concerns?

I need to remove the drivers seat of my 1998 XK8 to repair a broken bracket and I'm looking for confirmation if this presents any issues with the steering wheel airbag? I'm guessing there aren't any sensors in the seat or its track but figured its best to ask the experts.
Thank you in advance.

After you get the bolts out disconnect the battery before disconnecting modules or any wiring. This should be standard practice before doing anything electrical. You'll need the battery connected to get the seat loose because you need to move it forward and backwards to get access to the bolts.

Removing the seat is quite easy. If you google xk8 seat removal videos you will find a couple on Youtube.

Dont forget to put a towel or something across the boot to stop you closing it after you disconnect the battery. Good time to check you can open the boot with a key too.

Depending on how long you have had the battery disconnected you will have to enter the radio code and re-set the windows. Really easy to do both.
