Just wondering where i can find the engine number on my series 3 Sovereign v12.

check on the left side of the block as you're standing in front of the car looking towards the engine; Not familiar with the V12 arrangement.

in Left Hand Drive 6-cylinder cars it would be on the block's flange (where the oil sump meets with the block), at the rear of the block, sort of hidden behind the oil filter head assembly. A flashlight helps to see it, it's in raised numbers and letters.

 

On the V12 engine you'll find the engine number at the rear of the "Vee", roughly in the area of the oil pressure switch. It's very hard to see with all the engine plumbing in place.
