No need for a different lower valance, but you will need to cut holes for the under rider support. The challenge I found was that the left pin seemed bent outward & sliding the valance in place required altering the hole cuts. Other issue is the bolts holding it in place are a bear to get to. Thin wall 1/2 " 1/4 drive works. If you have a need to replace the bolts, make them as short as possible.

I have nearly completed the project on my 77 S2 XJ6C . Front complete, started on rear. Will post process and photos here, but for now they are on Jag Lovers where I saw photos of the rear mounting. Just type in " XJ6 S2 Euro Bumper Conversion".

That looks so good, especially with the vinyl roof delete. At some point I intend to do the 7" headlight conversion on my S3 but will probably leave the federal bumpers on.

Too old to do restoration anymore so it has been passed on to another. I could not live without something so I found a replacement that may only need repair. 2007 XK Fixed Head in Radiance. California Car that will never see bad weather. 97K & spotless. Previously owned by a woman for 11 1/2 years, dealer maintained.
I'm 81 & will ALWAYS see Wood & Leather as my preference over Aluminum or Carbon Fiber ! Normally Aspirated 300 HP. 4.2 L. More than adequate as they say !

That generation XK is an exquisite car and you will love it. I'm still not sure why I sold my XK-R. I miss it.

My favorite Jaguar color over decades of models.

Like the XKE, I prefer the looks of the coupe over the convertible. Nice red XKR!
...but would prefer one of each if possible.
