Default Finally found my Jag

Hello all. I joined back in Sept. '23 and finally found the right Jag. Bought it on BAT and hope to have it delivered in a week or so. It's an '87 XJ6, gray ext. mulberry red int. More miles than I'd like but seems to have been well taken care of. I think the wood trim veneer will need replacing but that will come after the mechanicals have been seen to. Will post pics and more details when it arrives.

Is this the one? I was watching that auction and was surprised it didn't go higher. Congratulations on the new Jag!

Thorsen, it was the gray one today. I fully expected it to go for a couple grand more and was completely surprised when I won. It was like the feeling you get when you walk into a meeting room and you're the first one there and wondering if it's the right day or room.

Congratulations, looks great, with an interior like an exclusive gentlemen's club. And with the Pepperpot wheels, which are quite rare in the US. I've sold a car on BAT but never bought one there as people tend to overpay imho, but sometimes you get lucky and one slips through. Enjoy the ride.

Thank you Noah. Gentleman's interior? Hope they let ME in. Yes, I believe I did get a "good deal" on this car though I haven't seen it at this point. If so, it will counter balance the other car I bought on BAT about a year and a half ago when bidding was more aggressive but it's been my daily driver (about 1000 miles a month) with no serious problems.
