Default Haz Switch Pin

Deep inside the switch, Pin 3 here does not seem to have any continuity in either ON or OFF position. The wire linking to it seems to be for the Dash Hazard light. So should it make contact with a tin active in ~ON position?

Series 2 Hazard switch ??

I know that in the Series 3, it has some 7 wires connected to it, AND there is an error in the Electrical Chart which was discovered by a user during the Jag-Lovers forum days in the 1990s.

If it is of any help, I have the Series 3 wiring Mistake and Correction posted in my website: https://jagupgrades.webstarts.com
look for it in the Manuals page.
