Smile Horn Button Stick On

I am having difficulty getting the screws off the back side of my steering wheel, to get at the sticking horn buttons. Is it easy to remove the steering wheel so I can get to the screws on the backside.

I've moved your post from the Forum Feedback section to the model specific section where you will receive a better response to your questions.

Have you got the steering wheel out to its maximum extent ? I used to use one of those stubby short screw drivers about 3" max in length, but the wheel has to be moved right out to max position first.

He means to turn the big black knurled piece below the wheel - CCW to loosen it... then pull up the wheel to the maximum height to gain room underneath. Good luck if it has not been loosened for years!

Thank you for the advice. As it was difficult to see whether i was having success loosening the two backside screws, I was able to remove the steering wheel, and complete the task, in a different manner.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it
Jim
