I agree YES!!
Were did you come up with this word LnrB? Did you spend years as an english major? The first term "the condition in which sexual or other gratification depends on one's suffering physical pain or humiliation." Im not sure about that, speaking for myself. But I have suffered humiliation when I'm on the side of the road fixing her. Not sexual humiliation. although when she's not broke...completely different story
P.S. the Quotes are from dictionary.com
Um, I didn't come up with Either of those words, ronbros did, I merely quoted him. But that's not an indication that I don't know what they mean in everyday use, which meanings are different from what you quote.

Masochism where I grew up meant one who either hurts themselves or puts themselves in situations and positions they know will hurt them because they're a "little off" and enjoy pain, whether physical, mental or emotional. A glutton for punishment was a person who didn't learn from the last times this or that produced undesirable results but continues doing the same things over and over again and Still doesn't learn. Both of these describe member of this section because if we didn't enjoy what we were doing we would find a used KIA and be done with it. (I love that line, thanks to whoever posted it)

And no, I wasn't an English major, hated and despised the class; a complete waste of time as far as I was concerned but I do like creative writing and to do that one must have a fair grasp of the language.

If you knew me personally you would soon discover I'm not into humiliation, subjection, pain, bondage or any of those things, in fact, I'm barely domesticated. A dear friend (now dead) once described me as a "half broke mare;" I'll do what you want when you convince me it was my idea to begin with.
