Bought both of my tanks from Rockauto. It was the cheapest place I found; they were made in Canada by Spectra Premium.

Around 275 bucks if memory serves...

Well, I’ve been through all of the above, one way or the other..
I was expecting the tank to just slide or fall out.
‘No luck. Any suggestions?

My right tank was creased in with hidden body damage. The crease in the wing, made a crease in the tank. I had to adapt a slide hammer to the drain bug. Then I pounded it out with the slide hammer. Left tank pretty much was wiggled out. New series 3 tanks pretty much slid right in.

I eventually worked it out. The vent tube was making it stick; spraying it with lithium grease, and a firm yank on the bottom edge of the fender line, along with some persuasion with a wood block and rubber mallet on the filler neck succeeded.
I have posted this elsewhere, but I’m looking for a good used submerged fuel pump mounting assembly. A previous owner had welded it up around the outlet tubes and that repair has gone south. Replacements are only available as a unit with a pump; the car was changed to an external pump previously.
