I was a naughty boy! I drove my jag around my neighbourhood yesterday, its not tagged yet, but i just had to do it!
All thats left before i insure and tag it is a new kickdown cable, install the wipers and tweak exhaust thats hitting a heat sheild about half way down car! I will be totally legal by the weekend! Oh its a great feeling!!!

Not think of it, just did it.


A while ago, The last transformation issue on the lump process was found and fixed.


Engine ran, car would not move. son and I had it up on jack stands to pull the trans.
SOG, the vendor had mated a trans to the engine, but no torque converter bolts!


Off to the NAPA store, got the three. Small hassle getting them in place. Conquered.


Off the jack stands. Victory lap around the block. Sans exhaust system. Blowing right out of the down pipes. Not too much throttle, even if it sounded so great. A cop lives around the corner!!! But, a good guy. would he nail me, I am not sure, but didn't want to put him on the spot either.


Think, nope, just did it.

I certainly don't drive it around town, but each small victory I have with my 82 I do a victory lap around the neighborhood. It has an expired CA tag on it, but no ins and no local state tag, reg or inspection. One of these days, I'm getting so close!! What a rush
