Ignition amplifier module 1987 xj6

Hello-

I was wondering if anyone knows of any aftermarket modules that can be exchanged for the stock module - and if so, is there any issues with the exchange?

Easy. Just use the AC Delco D1906 module.

Inside the ignition amplifier.

On a Ser III XJ6 4.2 the amplifier is the box bolted to the very front of the inlet manifold.

Replacing the module is dead simple but you'll need some very small sockets to open up the amplifier box.
