Always dealer or owner installed, period.

Plus, the spoke wheels were never really designed for use on the XJ6...

I had contaced Hendrix wire wheel ( http://www.hendrixwirewheel.com/wheels.html )
about a set I had found with some broke spokes. They won't even service a wire wheel going on a XJ6 although they are a Dayton service center.

I still think they look great, and have a 87 project car with them and am planning to leave them on the car...

That would give rise to a new internet abbreviation: POFRH

POFRH, funny JTO!

I always loved the wire spoke look and was bummed when I saw the ad to buy my XJ that it had the aluminum (starfish?) mags. Then I saw them in real life and wouldn't want to change them to anything else! I always compared them to the pontiac mag of the late '70's, but they look so much better in real life than in pics.
