I bought an XJ12 HE in order to recondition it. I searched the forum for valve adjustment documentation but I did not find anything, just a video on youtube filmed after adjusting all valves.
is there a pdf or video with this adjustment procedure?

That is not a regular service item on any Jaguar engine, as the valve clearances are set by shims, which do not wear or move as such.

To check, and re-adjust the clearances on the V12 is a MASSIVE task, and unless something is wrong, no need.

The whole top of the engine basically needs to come off, and then you will need to deal with the fragile (Now its fragile due to age) timing chain tensioner.

I have only done one, and that was my HE when the engine was out of the car for oil leaks, and that tensioner was broken. All the other V12's were left as made, and are still fine today.

It seemed to me that the valve system is driven directly by the camshaft but I wanted a confirmation.
Many years ago I did something similar to a Peugeot diesel engine. A lot of work.
