Locked out of trunk with only valet key

Locked out of trunk with only valet key

I have a 96 xj6. Battery was removed, trunk is closed, and I only have the valet key... How can I get into the trunk to put in the new battery?

Firstly, welcome to the forum.

Second, your 1996 XJ6 is known as an X300.

A quickie repost in that section should have answers flowing.

I dont remember "valet" anything on these "Series cars".
