Am pulling stuck injectors out of early FI V-12. (April, May of 1975?) Planned to renew all rubber/plastic.

Researched this on-line for some time. Most info is HE. Most sourced indicate 2 types of injector hose fitting, clamped or non-clamped. (barbed, push-on)

Mine appear "none of the above". Appear to be crimped. Any helpful stories on these? In the very sparse reference to this style, I found an admonishment to "..cut it off, but be careful not to touch the inner nipple, or it will leak.."

Any experience on removing this style without damaging inner nipple/barb would be welcomed!

 

Patience and a Dremel with a cut off wheel... Safety glasses too!

On a lucky day I may pull it off once or twice, ...

But need to do it flawlessly 12 times!
