Default Merry XMAS (I am not PC and lovin' it)

Well end of year soon... Beginning of a new era coming - YES!!!
Its snowing/miserable in Seattle today, my fireplace is roaring, and I have shut down business and decided to wait for the new year coming...in the meantime.. I have some excellent Starbucks premium coffee, my latte machine plugged in, a fresh bottle of Jameson Irish Whisky (birthday gift from favorite squeeze) and on my way to being "Comfortably Numb" all the while singing Bye Bye Obama - kiss my butt. ( still in my PJs writing this - just warming up) Seasons Greetings to all !! .... keep the XJ's shiny side up !!!

And a very Merry XMAS to you, too, Alyn! Has got to be difficult to be PIC up in your parts.

Missing the Jameson, but found, and emptied, a nice pre-mixed substitute.

And a Merry Christmas from me in damp old England.

Talisker malt whiskey from the Isle of Skye is my favourite poison. I'm just going to have a wee nip as I type this.

My mother, (who is 98 !!), prefers The Singleton.

pc, WHAT IN h... DOES IT REALLY MEAN???

We are told that our nearby mountain tops will be dusted with the stuff that looks nice
on post cards, but is O'wise limited in appeal. OK, so the folks about four hours away in the Sierra's will enjoy and endure it. Ski runs open. The orthopedists will enjoy the influx of business as well. The folks on the road will have to stop and chain up. DIY or entrepreneurs to do it for one. 4x4's OK sans chain if they have snow tires. Mine no longer does. But, I ain't going up there.

Today, IO began my day with Nestle's Café Classico, as I usually do. Later, a bottle or two of the local store's on sale brew. Moosehead Lager, a Canadian brew. Delicious.

Daughter comes later with XMAS Eve dinner. Said to be Corned beef and Cabbage.
In traditional, but tasty...

Xmas day I visit son and his mate. Fare, unknown. My guess is Crab. Jaguar's turn to get me there and back.

Gotta wrap a few presents in a bit.

MERRY CHRISATMAS AND A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO ALL !!!

Carl

Jan 3 & all's well in Grinch Central. This is my favourite time of year, as it's the longest time possible before the commercial crassness starts allover again. So Merry Non-festive Season to everyone. Let the good times roll.
