Hi all, several years ago removed the hinge from the center armrest top and installed a slide in place.
I carefully placed all the old pieces in a box. I would now like to re-install the original hinge but can no longer locate. I still have the screws but the hinge has found an hiding place. Anyone happen to have one they can part with or know where to find one?
Everyday xj.com has a hinge for a series 2, I have a series 1. It looks to have a different hole pattern, but I’m wondering if it’s the same dimension? Can Anyone with a series two tell me the hinge length a half width? The series 1 hinge is approximately 4.5” x 1” with three holes. I see the series two has two holes but I could drill new one if dimensions are close.
thanks,

I’ve lost a few of those “safe-keeping” boxes myself 😅. Might be worth checking junkyards or classifieds—sometimes people part out interiors and keep the small bits. In the meantime, a decent hinge from a hardware store can be a good stand-in until you track down the original.
