Default Monza Style Oil Filler Cap

I am planning to replace my stock oil filler cap with an aluminum Monza style cap. Has anyone accomplished this conversion?
There is an East Indian manufacturer, making these.
I'm hoping that I can special order a threaded adaptor to fit my valve cover.
XK's Unlimited is asking an ungodly amount for the same Monza cap, that I can buy from India, for around $100.00.

I might be wrong but that looks like a Gas Filler Cap, not an oil filler cap.

I like the classic Jaguar cap

Hmm

Wonder if you could adapt a petrol cap then!

Default Monza Oil Cap

Monza produced caps for gas and oil.
These guys, in Scotland, produce an oil cap.

Have you contacted the tank shop? Their quality is superb and they would likely sell you a cap and a stub to weld in.

I'm thinking that I could, perhaps, use my stock Jaguar oil cap and machine it down and weld it to the base of the Monza cap.
I have a lathe.
