Orphaned wires XJ6 S3 V8 conversion
Well these wires have been hanging around for so long I have forgotten where they actually connect/belong. I think they were used for emissions stuff on Jag 4.2 but now I have a 350 GM.. Ant help would be appreciated ... here are some pictures I just took.
On drivers side (US model) a red and white wire goes under the headlight fuse panel and disappears.
The other 2 are Lt Green/ Brown and another wire is Red and Brown they come out of the same spot (passenger side US model) as the engine compartment wiring harness,...again I think they were used for emissions stuff. Does anyone have any input please? Thanks

The white with red stripes on LH goes to factory coolant tank probably low coolant light or something. The RH green with brown stripe goes to your AC compressor. The red and brown wires on mine go to nothing. Its capped off and taped to the harness.
Hafrod you are a prince. Yes the red / white does indeed go to the tank that I no longer have. I tossed ir when I made the switch to V8 ...oops forgot about that. Same thing with AC compressor wires,.. I have also gone to the GM version of AC as used with a serpentine belt system/brackets So nothing made sense...now I know Thanks a bunch
